San Antonio Festival of Flowers

San Antonio’s Premier Gardening Event celebrates it’s 20th Year. It is a day of informative seminars, swapping plants, shopping for plants, landscape materials and gardening accessories.

FREE XERISCAPE PLANT for each adult, while supplies last, compliments of San Antonio Water System, co-host of the Festival of Flowers.

CITY-WIDE PLANT EXCHANGE when more than 1,500 plants and seeds are exchanged every year, making it the largest plant exchange in Texas. Carts and wagons welcome. Presented by Gardening Volunteers of South Texas.

HERB KITCHEN presented by the San Antonio Herb Market Association. Cooking demonstrations using seasonal herbs throughout the day.

SAN ANTONIO DAYLILY SHOW AND SALE presented by the San Antonio Daylily Society.

PLANTS THAT THRIVE IN SAN ANTONIO A special exhibit of Texas Superstar plants along with Native & Adapted plants, presented by Bexar County Master Gardeners.

FLORAL DESIGN CHALLENGE Ten designers create beautiful arrangements using baskets of “Mystery Flowers”. Presented by the San Antonio Garden Center Floral Design School with flowers provided by San Antonio Flower Company. Floral design demonstrations through the day.

RAIN BARREL DEMONSTRATIONS presented throughout the day by Bexar County Master Gardeners.

ASK THE EXPERT Talk one-on-one to expert horticulturists and landscapers, presented by PlantAnswers.com and Milberger’s Landscaping & Nursery.

LIVE RADIO SHOWS Meet your favorite gardening radio hosts when they broadcast live through the day from the Festival of Flowers.

Carts and wagons welcome. Plant and package check-room available in the lobby. Food and beverages available all day.
