San Antonio Herb Society is featuring Andrew Labay, horticulturist with the San Antonio Botanical Garden and former Viticulture Program Specialist at Texas A&M. His credentials include a B.S. In biology from UT Austin and an M.S. in Functional Plant Science from the University of Montpellier II.
He plans to do a brief overview of the Texas Wine Industry and Texas grape growing (with a backyard grower focus), then discuss the work that he is doing in the Culinary Garden at the Botanical Garden.
The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the San Antonio Garden Center, 3310 N. New Braunfels. The event is free and open to the public.
