A large audience of children and adults flocked to Milberger’s to participate in our annual Birds of Prey Kids Last Chance Forever program. One of Milberger’s Kids Gardening Class the audience last weekend was thrilled by this dramatic, close-up educational experience with Texas predatory birds. Birds of Prey Conservancy’s Last Chance Forever program helps sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey return to their natural habitat.
Kids Gardening Class at Milberger’s are held on the last Saturday of the month (except November and December) Our next class is Terrariums for Kids on July 30th. These hands-on, fun-in-the-garden workshops on gardening designed for children 5 to 10. Milberger’s Nursery provides the materials and classes are free but call to reserve a spot because class size is limited: 210-497-3760.
