Kids Gardeing Class: Beautiful Bees

May 27 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Bring your kids to Milberger’s to learn about bees: how a bee hive works and how they are important in for pollinating our plants and flowers. The class will be thought by Camaran Perez, Professional Beekeeper with Perez Beekeeping, No one will get stung.

BeautifulBeesCamaran Perez comes from a long line of beekeepers. His great grand uncle was one of the first beekeepers to sell honey to a major distributor to support his family. His grandfather had several hundred hives that he used to pollinate crops and fields all over Texas. Today he has other family members that still ship bees for pollination and some that are hobby beekeepers.

For thousands of years man-kind has depended on the Honey Bee for crop pollination, medicinal purposes, honey production and apitherapy.

Recently Honey Bees have been on the decline. As important as they are to our self preservation our job is to save them. Perez Beekeeping offer s live Honey Bee removal and relocation. We do our best to save each and every hive, though some can’t be helped. They do not exterminate a bee hives.

Milberger’s Kids Gardening Class on  Sat., March  29 from 10am ‘til noon. Your children will understand how bees are important in our environment. The Class is free but call to reserve your spot 210-497-3760.
